1win KYC & AML Policy
To ensure safety of customers and the company, prevent all illegal activities and regulatory violations, 1win has implemented various anti-money laundering (AML) measures.
If a customer is suspected of fraud or money laundering, the betting company must promptly report the matter to the relevant authorities in Kenya. Further, the customer’s gambling account and all funds on it will be temporarily blocked while the verification is carried out.
Money laundering is the concealment or secrecy of the origin, actual location, and movement of funds. It also includes the conversion, receipt, possession, or use of illegally obtained property.
An identification policy is implemented to prevent the penetration of criminal capital into the economy of the state as well as to counteract crime. In this way, 1win assists state and international organizations in the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorist organizations.

This happens in cases where the client is suspected of money laundering or criminal activity. 1win Kenya is not obliged to notify users that their activities are subject to checks.
